Chief Showcasing ConnexSys Video Wall System and More at InfoComm
Posted on Wednesday, June 11, 2014
Booth will have free coffee and a golden ticket to more refreshments

Eden Prairie, Minn., USA (JUNE 2014) - www.chiefmfg.com - Chief, an industry leader in AV mounting solutions, will be bringing the latest AV mounting solutions, as well as a healthy dose of fun, to InfoComm this year in Las Vegas. Attendees are encouraged to stop by booth C6830 for free coffee to help power their day and a tour of mounting solutions designed with the installer in mind.

ConnexSys: We Solved It
The main attraction will be the ConnexSys Video Wall Mounting System, which was engineered to solve the largest issues facing installers with video walls:
  • Speed of install
  • Ease of alignment
  • Access for serviceability
  • Rigidity to maintain adjustments
Visitors will see how Chief solved these issues with a Strut Channel Install capability, PowerZone™ Adjustment, RapidDraw™ Display Release and added rigidity. After the demo, visitors will get a golden ticket good for refreshments and fun just outside at the Road Show truck.

Kontour: Enhancements you asked for
  • Also new to InfoComm will be the enhanced Kontour monitor mount solutions, packed with design updates requested by customers.
  • New updated finishes
  • More configurations and easier upgrade options for adding additional monitors
  • Next generation Centris™ extreme tilt and easier fine-tuning of display rotation
  • Enhanced 3-step installation and quick-release monitor interface
  • Improved base with included tool storage so your tools are always accessible
Storage: Customize on Site
New storage options on display at Chief’s InfoComm booth include multi-depth in-wall boxes that can be ordered in parts to match when they are needed on site. They are also large enough to hold commonly used video scalers. New plenum-rated above-ceiling boxes were designed with a drop down feature that eliminates the frustrating swing down doors that can get in the way during installation and servicing. Column location is also maximized within the tile space for less reliance on digital adjustments and lens shift to the image.

The Best of the Rest
Other new solutions since last year include an array of extra-large mounts for ceiling and cart applications that require heavy screens or touch panels. The video conferencing cart comes with 11RUs of rack space to customize a mobile solution for sharing between rooms. The multi-directional ceiling mounts offer 360 degrees of viewing capability from a single column drop for three or four displays.

Chief wants visitors to go home happy – so be sure to stop by for free coffee and a golden ticket for fun. The Road Show truck is parked just outside and will provide games, drinks and prizes.
