Systems Enhance Learning For Students And Instructors.

ORLANDO, FL (June 17, 2009) – Panasonic System Solutions Company is going back to school with a new line of audio systems designed to enhance the learning experience for both students and instructors in schools and corporate classrooms. The new A+ Series of Classroom Audio Solutions includes two wireless microphones, three infrared receivers and an all-in-one portable sound system – all ideal for K-12 school environments as well as business/commercial continuing education and training.

"Extensive research shows that when everyone in the room can hear the instructor clearly, students learn better and both grades and test scores are higher," said J.M. Allain, President of Panasonic System Solutions Company. "With Panasonic’s new A+ Series of Classroom Audio Solutions, instructors do not need to strain their voices to be heard. They can address their pupils in more natural vocal tones, and are less fatigued at the end of the school day. Minimizing unnecessary repetition makes the learning experience much more productive as well."

Continuing a long history of innovative and advanced professional and consumer audio products that have built a solid reputation for quality and reliability, Panasonic’s new A+ Series of Classroom Audio Solutions includes:

A wireless pendant microphone hangs on a lanyard to provide hands-free functionality along with remote operation of power, mute and volume controls, allowing the instructor to be more demonstrative with their hands. Multimedia levels can be controlled with a compatible receiver.

A handheld microphone can be used by the instructor or students, helping the class to participate more and instilling confidence in students. Weighing less than half-a-pound (.33 lbs), the handheld microphone utilizes a single AA rechargeable battery.

Three infrared receivers at 20, 50 and 100 watts offer 2-channel tuning, up to 4 line input and up to 8 speaker connections. Each allows simultaneous 4-microphone use.

An infrared sensor covers 360 horizontal degrees, providing complete coverage for standard classroom areas. With the infrared sensor coupler, up to 4 sensors can be used to support expanded educational spaces. The system has also been designed to avoid interference with neighboring classroom and eavesdropping.

The all-in-one wireless portable sound system requires no set up and can be taken anywhere, improving learning in any environment. The system incorporates a 2-channel receiver, sensor, amplifier and speaker into one compact unit, providing high quality voice and multimedia capabilities.

"Our new A+ Series of Classroom Audio Solutions demonstrates Panasonic's fundamental belief in providing leading system technologies that support the building of strong communities and strong businesses," said Mr. Allain. "It's all part of our system solution approach, taking the larger view of how Panasonic can improve the education experience at every level."

The new Panasonic A+ Series will be on display at InfoComm in the Panasonic booth #4441 and ScanSource Communications booth #3471.
