Chief Expands Impact Series to Include Landscape On-Wall Solutions

August 14, 2020 - Chief, an industry leader in AV mounting solutions, introduces new landscape format on-wall kiosks to the Impact™ product family.

The Impact™ Landscape On-Wall Kiosk brings new flexibility to the digital signage enclosure market while maintaining a sleek aesthetic to complement a variety of environments. A depth-adjustable exterior frame allows for a wide selection of displays to be used while meeting minimum protrusion depth requirements.

The new scissor arm design enables 8" (203mm) of extension providing unparalleled service and maintenance access. Landscape kiosks are available for 49, 50 and 55" displays in black or white finishes.

"We're excited to offer even more flexibility and serviceability to our Impact Kiosk series while maintaining the same slim-profile and design aesthetics of our current portrait kiosks," said Luke Westin, Product Manager at Chief.

The solution joins existing, portrait Impact On-Wall Kiosks available in black or white finishes for 46 – 75" screen sizes. Both the landscape and portrait on-wall kiosks have a 3-5" (76-127 mm) depth-adjustable exterior frame. An integrated wall reveal compensates for uneven walls to keep the frame plumb and provide passive cooling. A universal storage plate, featuring Middle Atlantic's Lever Lock™ technology, holds supporting equipment. Additional storage can be added with Chief PAC In-Wall Storage Boxes.

Sizes of the Impact Floor Mounted Kiosks have also been expanded to accommodate a wider range of displays from 40 – 55". Impact Freestanding Base Accessories for single-sided and back-to-back models are now available too. All products are tested and approved to UL 2442 ensuring safety for interactive use and servicing.

"Freestanding base accessories preserve floor finishes, and accommodate movement of kiosks in temporary installations," said Westin.

Impact Floor Mounted Kiosks are similarly designed with no exposed fasteners while maintaining full access and serviceability. The display remains mounted to the frame when the kiosk is opened. Keyed locking security keeps displays safe.
